in a useless attempt to have an intelligent conversation, I start this. um. what is the ideal form of govenment?

None, only the absence of government would work ideally.

morgan: an anarchist government would be terrible. you need at least some laws other wise everyone's rich which means everyone's poor. you cant have a working economy nor general peace with no laws and jobs become useless other than a way to spend spare time because the economys so horrid you can purchase anything for entertainment.
I take offense to that Peyton. when it comes to a political discussion i find my self rather quick-witted.

an anarchist governmant could work, though only if everyone got along peacefully and we'd all destroy each other before we got to that point.

In Marxist doctrine, it says you need a totalitarian governmant as a precursor to communism, but I'm not sure how it would fade over to having no government. I think I would've worked better before we followed celebrities(and people in government) around documenting their every move.

You're post refutes your own suggestion. The best way would be a modified socialistic run, central government. So basically, what the republicans have been trying so hard to stop.

I agree with Conner. we should still allow people to vote on alot of things. mostly who holds power and have a very spread power. or just 5 elected term serving dictators. by popular vote of course. really however the perfect government relys on the times and the geography. and the people dont forget the people and there whacky cults religions and popular culture.

everyone having power was plausible in the beginnings of ancient greek societies, and it worked then. everyone voted on every little thing. but we're way to big now for that to work, and it takes to long to get stuff done as it is. Plus, if everyone has power, equal power, it's the same as nobody having power.

Anywayz, This is not a "I WANT, I GET" kind of thing, Dont say things such as "I've been here so and so and i deserve something out of it." If you were just in the forum to become an admin then gtfo. Most of us were online just to post to interesting topics and such, not for power.
